Mid-Hudson HuaXia Chinese School (MHHCS) was established by local Chinese families in 1999. The objectives of the school are to teach Chinese language (Pin Yin and Simplified characters) and to promote Chinese culture.

MHHCS is registered with the State of New York as a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious educational organization. The school admits students of any age, sex, race, color, nationality, or religion, and welcomes all those interested in the education and promotion of Chinese language and culture.

MHHCS is one of the eighteen constituent schools of Huaxia Chinese School (HCS) which was established in 1995 and registered in the State of New Jersey. We use the text book Zhongwen developed by Huawen College of Jinan University in China.

2009 marked our 10th years anniversary, we are excited about the prospects of our school with the support from each family and our friends in Mid-Hudson valley.
